Helping students in the World Scholars Cup
In November 2022, we supported a local Gold Coast school fundraise for a group of senior students to compete in the World Scholars Cup held at Yale University in the USA! Our contribution helped the students succeed in multiple events, bringing home silver, gold, trophies, and medals. Well done team, we’re so proud of you!
Supporting ‘Hope in a Suitcase’
In the leadup to Christmas and the New Year, our Gold Coast Office hosted a charity drive for the wonderful organisation ‘Hope in a Suitcase’. Hope in a Suitcase is a non- profit organisation run by volunteers who are incredibly passionate about showing every child in the foster care system that they are loved and valued by their community.
The children are given a suitcase of their very own to ensure they have a safe and secure place in which to pack their belongings and take with them wherever their journey may lead. Our Gold Coast office had an amazing time working together to help spread some cheer, especially to those in need.
Engaging with the Sri Lankan community
And lastly, we are involved with the Sri Lankan community. Since December last year we have been helping to increase revenue for a Brisbane Sri Lankan community’s newsletter. This community is very dear to our lawyer Sanath. Sanath moved to Australia in his youth and always prided himself on maintaining strong ties with the Sri Lankan community.
Looking back over our recent engagements, we see the importance of supporting our local community and organisations.
